"...before the shooting, there was a trailer playing advertising another movie - named Gangster Squad. In the trailer, a guy jumps into a movie theater and kills up piles of movie watchers with a machine gun.
After this was played, the real guy jumped out and shot up the movie theater in virtually identical fashion. Warner Brothers claims it was a coincidence and that they did not know the trailer was playing in that theater....

The video link inside of it has been disabled - Warner Bros is pulling the trailer. I found another copy of the identical trailer on Youtube under separate cover. Here it is. FFWD to minute 2:00 - there is the movie scene of the guy shooting up the theater. Compare that the the real event which played out right after that. The events were apparently so near-identical that some moviegoers thought the shooter who was firing rounds was part of the special effects or the movie/trailer...here is the trailer which played before the event:

The Dark Knight Rises itself is apparently chock-full of messages from the controllers about our totalitarian system...more on that when I round up a good analysis but a lot of people are already chewing on this and dissecting the predictive programming of the movie itself - plus there is the trailer. "
