WMR also has a new report on the interesting past of the Aurora police chief which goes on to other issues and connections and more on the neuroscientific research, Holmes' father, etc.
There are many (including Carolyn Baker, who speaks truth to power and is the priestess of collapse: http://carolynbaker.net/2012/07/22/massa...n-baker-2/ ) who want to point the finger at society, and join in the wailing, gnashing of teeth, and ritualized grieving for the excesses of industrial civilization. (It is interesting to notice that one of the people involved in post-traumatic counseling after the Virginia Tech shooting was trained as a medical intuitive at the Monroe Institute.) Baker notes that our culture must learn to grieve in authentic matter. I think our culture needs to learn more about mitigation. While the excesses of industrial and war-addicted civilization are well-known and identified and deserving of our attention, "cause" is much more proximal.
