There's an interesting debate going on over at Consortium.

Francois Carlier, as I could have predicted, jumped in, even though he knows next to nothing about Kennedy's presidency, and even less than that about Johnson's.

And then there is some history professor named Harrington who says I am being unfair to Caro. Unfair? I actually think I am being too fair to the guy.

And then there is this Reed guy who looks like a Chomsky/Cockburn (RIP) acolyte. The thing is, there has not been any debate like this anywhere about Caro's book. Because I am the first and only writer to really go after him in detail.

Join in if you can, its getting spirited.

And please post it around as much as possible--let's go viral and make this a huge debate over whether Caro valued his narrative over the facts.

Holy crap. How much is Carlier getting paid I wonder. He is responding to every post and is beyond annoying. He's there just to waste peoples' time.
I mean are there not only 100 people in the damn world who still believe the official lie?
