Keith Millea Wrote:Gordon Duff,if he is an honorable man,should change the name of his web page.To use the name "Veterans Today",implies that he represents Americas Veterans.Nothing could be further from the truth.Totally agree Keith. One always needs other reliable sources before using VT. It is all very questionable.....
Duff,and his web page do not reflect the opinions of the extremely vast majority of Veterans.In fact,I would say,he attracts only a very few,and those are the gullible amongst us.
Why doesn't Gordon Duff have a Wiki page?
Duff bio from Veterans Today;
Quote:Biography
Gordon Duff is a Marine Vietnam veteran, a combat infantryman, and Senior Editor at Veterans Today. His career has included extensive experience in international banking along with such diverse areas as consulting on counter insurgency, defense technologies or acting as diplomatic representative for UN humanitarian and economic development efforts.
Gordon Duff has traveled to over 80 nations. His articles are published around the world and translated into a number of languages. Duff, military affairs analyst for Press TV, is regularly on TV and radio, a popular and sometimes controversial guest. Visit Gordon Duff's YouTube Channel
Some have found his service records:
6 months training
4 months Marine rifleman Vietnam
8 months clerk Vietnam (REMF)
100% disability rating with no purple heart

So Duff labels himself a combat infantryman...well apparently for 4 months.
I've never heard of a Marine only serving for 18 months....
I say the guy is a snake...and his "Veterans Today" is an unreliable resource.
Take your chances!
