Indeed it should seeing how it is most likely Masood was assassinated by CIA. Masood was a strong leader who, as the head of the Northern Alliance, would certainly have been the heir apparent of the leadership of Afghanistan. Masood was probably murdered by CIA in order to wipe the slate clean and have CIA place a more controllable leader of their own choice in Afghanistan. His timely death close to 9-11 would also serve as political cause to react to the murderous Al Qaeda. Remember who CIA had as their main leader in Afghanistan against the Russians - Osama Bin Laden. And look what happened to him too.
Masood was assassinated on September 9 2001 two days before the 9-11 attacks. An almost certain sign of imminent change like NSAM 273.

The CIA was working with Masood, who was killed by two suicide bombers posing as newsmen, al Qada linked terrorists who were affiliated with the same network responsible for 9/11 attacks.
If you believe Al Doyle, you can credit the CIA for everything under the sun, but knowing them better, they are not that efficient.
