Gordon Duff is a high profile public person with a lot of influence. He runs a webpage called "Veterans Today".Why is it that there is virtually nothing on Duff's military service on the web? And,all I'm talking about here is just basic information. There isn't even a Wiki page up on him.
Don't you think this is a little strange for someone claiming to be a spokesperson for Veterans?I think Veterans would like to know how he only spent less than two years in the Marines, when an enlistment is for four years(if that sevice record is correct).I could go on about how the heck did he go from a trained rifleman,to an S3 clerk. It looks to me like he had some strings pulled to get something cushy like that.
So,you can call it "shooting the messenger",but many people think Duff is a propagandist. And really,it would be good for him to be transparent on these issues.Don't ya think.....
Do you think the guy is lying about being a veteran? He would be stupid to do so, because he wouldn't get far by lying about that.
So what if he doesn't have a wiki page and a chest full of medals. He only claims to be a veteran, not a decorated war hero.
I don't understand your calls for him to be 'transparent' on 'these issues'. He's a veteran with very strong opinions, simple as that. Sounds like the issue is that you don't like his opinions.
Shouldn't you be a little more tranparent about what really irks you?
