I'm more than a bit surprised that no one has commented in any way on the video I posted of Novel covering a universe of topics......
has no one seen it, or has no one any comments. He, IMHO, mixes truths with lies and distortions; at times he is straightforward and at times dissembling and evasive. The range of topics is both interesting, immense and odd no doubt. He seems to have 'changed' in some good ways over the years and in some ways remained the same. I do urge people to watch the first one [long version] or if short on time the second [shorter interview not covering all of the same materials]. He was an interesting character!....as was David Ferrie and many others cast in the roles those two were....

I cannot view it Peter. And when I try to download this feature it won't work. Further Erick has told me that when he had it it caused all sorts of problems on his computer.

Dawn, these are just YouTube videos. The only problem I know with them is that Apple no longer allows YouTubes on their operating systems. Are you using a Mac? Maybe that's it.

No I have a dell. I can watch you tube fine. But when I try to watch these or click on assistance I get a message that my brouser does not support this. As I said I have tried to download it to no avail several times. So now I just ignore it. I have internet explorer for most everything except facebook and the Ed forum. I was having a big problem on facebook with the screen freezing up so a friend downloaded Chrome for that and I have not had a problem since. I am NOT a technical person...So I will wait til my friend gets back to Austin and maybe he can solve the problem. He is a natural with computers. I am very far from it.
People giving me advice does zero good. I appreciate it, but...let's get back to the topic of the thread. The advice is lost on me. I am hopeless.

Just install the free Firefox and then if you want to download from there look for add-ons under download. Some are specific for YouTube, others are for any and all videos. Simply type Firefox download into a search engine; download; install; under 'tools' click add-ons and enter 'download' and choose a few. Delete any that don't work well and keep those that do. I use flash video downloader, myself. I think using internet explorer is a mistake for many reasons.
