It troubles me to inform you that Sue White, the widow of our dear friend, Jack White, passed away on the 18th. I have very fond memories of her. She and Jack were our gracious hosts and tour guides when my wife and I visited them exactly 2 years ago today

Sue Benningfield White, 78, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 9 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Woman's Club of Fort Worth or Fort Worth Public Library. Sue was born on Dec. 12, 1933, in Clarksville. She worked for Interstate Theaters for 35 years as an adminstrative assistant. She was a partner in VJS Co's, an advertising graphics firm. She retired from Stuart Bacon Advertising Agency. Sue was a charter member of Women of Motion Picture Industry, the Woman's Club of Fort Worth and the 62 Club. Sue was a longtime member of Meadowbrook United Methodist Church. She was always poised, elegant, loved to play bridge, was gracious to everyone and loved to read. She was a very articulate and accomplished businesswoman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Jack D. White. Survivors: Eight nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
