Keith - thank you for posting.

Tragically, it's long been clear that the American military, like the British, regarded its soliders and sailors as "owned" and "fodder". Whenever human guinea pigs were needed for high risk and unethical trials of drugs, prisoners, orphans and soldiers were always the default choice.
