LR Trotter Wrote:Ms Edisen, That paragraph twelve by Mr Roberts stands out, to me at least. A lot of meaning in that statement.

Here is Paragraph 12 from Paul Craig Roberts' article:
Quote:There is another constraint on revealing truth. The human capital of people with inside knowledge is destroyed if they speak out. Position, contacts, invitations, income, and social life are all forfeited when an insider becomes a dissenter or a truth-teller. Only the extremely naive can believe that governments cannot keep conspiracies a secret, "because someone would talk." No one talks, because talking harms the personal interests and human capital of the insider, and seldom does any good.
All we need to know is how many witnesses were killed after the John Kennedy assassination. The threat of the loss of one's life, or of family members, is very much a deterrent to speaking out. Whistleblowers like Edmonds are exceptional. And even then, nothing may change at all. Only if there is mass action, maybe. Look atr how much opposition there is now to gun control to prevent more killings of innocents.
