Obama the invisible [to most] Trojan Horse for the National Security State and their Masters has prosecuted and convicted more whistleblowers of government wrongdoing than any other President. He has also sought more convictions under the Sedition Act than all Presidents combined. Some 'Liberal' President; some progressive; some Constitutional lawyer! MLK would have welcomed his ability to become President, but given him one tongue lashing the likes only he was capable of...had he not been assassinated by the very people and powers that Obama now is frontman for. Obama even allowed an 'outsources' [Chinese] artist and bronze foundry produce the horrible statue that is supposed to honor King in the Capitol. Whistleblowing is now a high treason crime post 9-11. We really do live in a Police State, being ratcheted up every year and most sheeple not noticing like slowly boiled frogs. Manning is a hero, IMO, and should be treated as such - instead, he will likely face life in prison for exposing warcrimes and other misdeeds. He embarrassed the 'enemy' which is within the Beltway.
