I think the words of Perkins are very pertinent here. He can be found on youtube and some of his books in ebook form are on the internet. Not yet mentioned in this mix [much, as Jan pointed out not what is seen above 'waterline', but happening deep below] is that there were verified reports of very large depositors [only] removing their money from Cyprus days before this 'surprise' announcement - i.e. some insiders got out when the going was good....it is not known publicly who they were or the amounts involved. Officially it is denied, but even some banks verified this without giving details.....they put it up to chance :wirlitzer:
