Crime lord Aziz Batukaev released

A crime lord Aziz Batukaev has been released, the State Service for Punishment Execution of the Kyrgyz Republic told 24.kg news agency.
According to the service, such decision was made at a court session on April 9. Lawyers of the leader of an organized criminal group submitted proofs of his acute leukemia disease. Aziz Batukaev was released on medical grounds.
Recall, the prison term of the crime boss ended on March 23, 2012. Since 2008 Batukaev had been detained in remand prison 24 in Naryn town.
As it was reported earlier, the Moscow district court of Chui province sentenced Aziz Batukaev to 2 years of imprisonment for permanent prison disturbances on March, 2008.

Kyrgyzstan's Border Service: Aziz Batukaev has left for Russia

Crime lord Aziz Batukaev has left for the Russian Federation, Public Relations and Media Department of the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to its information, Batukaev Aziz Alashevich, 1966, citizen of Kyrgyzstan, crossed the state border through Manas airport checkpoint on April 9, 2013. He flew from Bishkek to Grozny.
As it was reported, preliminary information on departure of the citizen was obtained from agencies of the State Committee for National Security and the Interior Ministry of Kyrgyzstan.

Ravshan Zheenbekov: Information that Aziz Batukaev gave $1.5 million to be released is spread by media, not by me

"The information that Aziz Batukaev gave $1.5 million bribe to be released from prison is spread by media, not by me," Deputy Ravshan Zheenbekov said at a parliamentary meeting today.
As it was reported earlier, he said the decision on Aziz Batukaev's release was made by top officials. "It smacks of a big bribe. This issue should be investigated," he noted.
Orozbek Moldaliyev, Plenipotentiary representative of the President in Parliament, said: "I know whom did you mean saying that Aziz Batukaev paid $1.5 million for freedom. And I ask deputies not to voice any unreliable information at the parliament tribune," he said.
