When I read this 2002 book on the NSA by James Bamford I sliced it into four two-hundred-page books; data is more manageable that way.
Watching Enemy of the State (1998) with Gene Hackman, Will Smith, Jon Voight, we find nothing at all benign about No Such Agency.
The following year Unrestricted Warfare by the PLA colonels cited cyberwarfare as part of asymmetrical warfare.
Who hasn't felt the massage of the pinger patter of little exploits testing the firewall from faraway technical institutes.
So when the beetles in the shadow of the Great Pyramid proposed to build another temple in the sand worshipping the god of Data
breathes there a man with head so obsidian as to think for a nanosecond its purpose was purely technical
Information is the new gold rush and age of oil
When the spooks are rushing on their run
and they feel just like Jesus' son
oh and they guess but they just don't know
oh and they guess but they just don't know
The boulevard can be so hard
when you're Michael Hastings trying to take the takers for a ride
(facepalm)
