Carroll was a friend of Dennis Ford's during the days that Jerry Rose's The Fourth Decade was under siege by people like Dave Perry, Mark Zaid, Ford etc. I thought many of these new authors, who appeared after Stone's film came out, were kind of spooky.
Does anyone know the story behind Dave Reitzes? He wrote some really good internet articles back in the 90s and then suddenly became a born-again lone-nutter. Very strange. I've never been able to understand how a person makes that sort of conversion, other than by financial reward.
I have asked quite a few "converted" WC defenders what made them change their mind and all I get is the "evidence" did it for the most part. What I find confusing about this answer is the WC's evidence shows a conspiracy took place so what "evidence" are they referring to? Also, they never tell you specifically what evidence they are referring to so one has to wonder what is up. I think they changed their mind for some type of reward too and I have said as much to them over the years.
It is simply NOT logical for the evidence in this case to make you BELIEVE IN the LN theory as it shows the opposite took place constantly when viewed. It has to be for another reason and that is why they won't answer you.
Vince Palamara wouldn't answer me either years back when he had his short-lived conversion. This of course is just my opinion.
