I always felt that no one in the car could have been "in on it".
They were real bullets flying in there and the SS in the front were in the line of fire - they didn't look nervous to me before it kicked off.
I think Greer instinctively hit the brakes for a split second, which was of course the wrong thing to do.
But brown stuff happens.
Now.. the missing SS protecting JFK's rear side of the limo... that's a differet matter.
