Quote:The largest loss to the team took place in April of 2011 when Taliban fighters shot down a U.S. helicopter and killed 22 members of SEAL Team Six, along with 16 other U.S. troops. None of those SEALs, however, were reported to have worked on the Bin Laden raid.
Contrast the foregoing with this:
Quote:The helicopter was carrying 25 of Britain's most senior intelligence experts from Northern Ireland to a conference in Inverness. All 29 people on board, including the four special forces crew, died when the Chinook crashed on the Mull of Kintyre, on the west coast of Scotland.
See: 1994 Chinook "crash" for fuller story. At the time this "crash" was widely viewed as being convenient with the death of 25 intelligence community types and was thought to be a "clean up" operation of the Irish problem.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
