Dawn Meredith Wrote:I saw that post by Yoko some time back and I could not help but wonder if she has investigated John's murder. There is enough on the net alone to raise grave suspicions. Combine that with the Fenton Bresler book-"Who Killed John Lennon?"
and one can become quite convinced.
Ono appears briefly in the narrative of at least one conspiracy book I read in the last few years - can't remember if it was the Bresler book or another one - where after a friendly meeting with a writer who was looking to investigate the matter, she helpfully pointed the author in the direction of someone else who had written or researched Lennon's killing, and said "He has something you should read". The implication of the passage (again, can't remember if it was in Bresler's volume or not) was that Ono was fully aware of the conspiratorial vibes around her husband's death and was supportive of research into the matter, but wasn't going to dip her toes into it herself.
Another good book on the assassination of Lennon is Phil Strongman's JOHN LENNON: LIFE, TIMES, ASSASSINATION, which is as conspiratorial as Bresler's work but pairs the narrative of Lennon's death with a simultaneous one detailing the assassination capabilities of the CIA. The Amazon reviews of Strongman's book are instructive.
