This year Antarctica experienced a record-breaking increase in sea ice.

Charlie, I don't know you. If you meant this to be funny, its not. If you're serious, it is beyond ignorant.

Calling David Guyatt: you don't want ad homs. What is one to do with a post like this? Since your nemesis Charlie Drago has been "retired," posts like this are becoming far more frequent.

Lauren, Charlie Drago is not David's nemesis. Just a deeply flawed man and we are all flawed in some way. Charles may see David as his nemesis. I really don't know and don't care. Charlie Drago is presently hanging with his little mate Greg who sucks up and regurgitates all the Koch brother funded propaganda as the gospel truth and who thinks .3% of dissenting scientists is irrefutable proof that there is nothing happening with the climate. You've seen his posts here. You will note Charles never once criticised any of that. So the last thing Charlie would be doing if he were posting would be stepping in to give us some scientific clarity on this matter.

As for if this is a joke post or he is serious all I can say is I wish there were a sarcasm font. It would make like as a form moderator much easier. But there isn't as yet. If it is a joke I see no reason not to let him have his little joke. It is not against forum rules to laugh or think it bad taste. If it is not a joke or more importantly if you choose not to take it as one I look forward to your thoughtful rebuttal. But Charlie was never going to rescue you from this one even if he were posting.

I will respond in another thread. What is behind my admittedly partly snarky nemesis comment is larger than Charlie Prima's post or about climate change or Greg or Charlie Drago. I think it is ultimately about why I think DPF had a flat tire and what can fix it.
