Most of the dealing with the Bolsheviks and banks was via expropriation at the point of a gun. Stalin being one of the more successful of them. There were several individual aristocrats who donated to the Bolsheviks, and other groups, because either, despite apparent class differences, they supported their cause or had the same enemies in common. Which isn't to say that some western bankers didn't also wish to fund changes in Tzarist Russia to their benefit.
