While this will likely be of no interest to a certain JFK researcher who sells waterfront property the cognitive dissonance of certain policy makers is worrying. Things are not looking good for most living thing of the world with 97% or more of the scientists saying one thing and the 97% of the capitalist economists still trying to use the old paradigm and look for the silver lining like the carbon trading ponzi scheme or selling more air conditioners so we are not discomforted by the trees outside bursting into flames. Those with significant financial interests on the losing side of the status quo like insurance companies are the only ones big enough to be pushing for any significant change. But then maybe they'll just up the premiums....Individual people are not all in a position to re-roof their houses with panels and install micro turbines and councils are no where near making it madatory in their building codes. Government policy still permit the combustion engine vehicles to be mass manufactured, imported and sold instead of requiring vehicles with zero emmission. Some thing that should have happened long ago on the basis of pollution reduction alone. There is quite a bit to do.
