Far too familiar! I hate telcos in particular. No service and almost impossible to deal with on line or by phone. Like they shunt us off and just want to collect the money which they often don't provide a service for.
My other peeve is big companies that have not moved to a good online presence. Then they scream about the lack of business and want to government to step in to make it harder to shop on line to keep their profits rolling in while doing nothing for the customers and keeping their outdated business model. I stopped shopping at our local department stores more than 15 years ago when I tried to use their web site to shop. I was very pleased to see they had a web site and all could see all the trouble shopping on line would save me. But I couldn't because for some reason it had never occurred to them to link their inventory to their website and show me what they have and how much it is so I could order some thing. They just used their website to display a few photos of things I was not interested in (but probably had a good mark up for them) and a map of where their shop is. Some thing I could already use the Yellow Pages for. But the last thing I want is to go into to town to their shop. No parking. Hellish traffic. Still have to walk blocks to the shop if you get parking in an expensive parking station. Or pay for a taxi there but getting one back is not always easy. The whole point is to make it easy and pleasant for the customer. I decided then that they were idiots and they would not get my money. They can keep their stupid business model and pay their CEOs millions for providing bad service for over priced stuff that I can buy direct from Asia for a fraction of the price with out leaving home. Don't cry to me that times are bad. I would have stayed with them if they had stayed with me. Guess I am one of those grumpy old ladies.
