I worked quite hard with Barry Chamish to get a TV documentary about the Rabin assassination made for British television. I had a well known and highly respected TV documentary producer/director meet Barry and after our meeting - where Barry showed footage of the walk Rabin took after the peace rally, where his bodyguard suddenly stopped, turned to the side, folded his hands in front of him and waited, until Yigal Amir filled the hole the bodyguard had left on Rabin's left shoulder, sneaked in and fired two shots at his back.
Barry also had (I have a copy somewhere) of the surgeons contemporary hand-written report written in the operating room of the emergency hospital Rabin was taken too that clearly states the kill shot was a contact shot to the anterior chest.
The TV dock maker, after reviewing all the paperwork and other evidence was, as I was too, utterly convinced that Barry had nailed the story. He prepared a dock treatment and took it to every single UK TV broadcaster. All rejected it.
There was no appetite for the truth to be told.
