The thing that upsets me the most is that many Americans who think there was a conspiracy think that those who were behind it went away - or only did that one thing - or are not with us in some form today. I believe - no I am sure - what we face today is the very 'beast' that we faced on 11/22/63 and it has ony grown stronger in the time since. Rivera's words are very chilling and I agree most likely meaning Stockdale. They killed, by my count, about 2-400 persons to silence them and many thousands of others were threatened, or 'else'. But the whole country if not the world was overthrown and is still. Ann Stockdale's guess as to why her father was killed is likely correct - but only part of the answer IMO.
I think you are correct in stating that the conspirators have not left us. Or, they have been replaced by a younger generation. The beat goes on, and on .... The attainment of power, wealth, whatever, allows for crimes against humanity and individuals.

Yes, most of the original plotters and their carry-it-out men are gone, but they have been replaced by those who feel the same, have the same sick goals and total lack of humanity, justice, law, Consitutional Principles, democracy, fairplay, honesty and equality.....as you said they only look for power and money - and mostly do it by stealth and lies followed by cover-ups, threats and murders. Somewhere I have that CIA training manual. It specified how many floors up is a guarenteed kill and methods to get your victim to the window without suspecting or using force, if needed - even drugs to incapacitate briefly. Standard operating proceedure is to make murder look like suicide. Sadly, the police go along with it 99% of the time without question. As an historic aside, here killing by pushing out a window has a long and sad history. Many of the most famous politicians suddenly decided (sic) to walk on air out of their office windows. It even has a name: defenestration. Stockdale being a close friend of JFK; being in Miami with all of its Assassination-realted spooks; knowing that JFK orders were not carried-out re: loading the planes, and no doubt more he knew - doomed him. He'd have been able to point toward the general cabal had he survived. Same for the other suicided or just plain murdered witnesses. Clean-up, mafia style/CIA style.
