I guess the point I was trying to make was that, with the distribution of Dual US/Israeli citizens among the top people and 'advisors' in the US Executive - not to mention hard-line Zionist support in congress, the MSM etc - the need for a 'nod and wink' from the President himself is somewhat diminished.
