David you remind me of Chief Inspector Jane Tennison in the British Prime Suspect series. I remember she would take a drag on a cigarette and say something like, 'OK, then. We start over. We look at everything all over again. I am cancelling all leave and vacations. Get started.' Even her staff who by this time will follow her into the jaws of hell, look at her with stunned disbelief. And of course, they get the bad guy.

To this day, my wife suspects that I love JT more than her.

I agree, ... but there is the long gone voice of Charlie Drago's notion speculating that JFK was selected for sacrifice before he was POTUS. I can't make that one go away. I wished I could. I dismissed it out of hand. Now it haunts me.

I can easily dismiss it out of hand. Why on earth would anyone select JFK for sacrifice before he did the things as POTUS that got him assassinated? During the debates he came across as more Cold war oriented than was Nixon. CD has lots of fine ideas and thoughts. However- TO ME- this is not one of them.
