While I hate nuclear weapons and thing NO nation should have ANY, just after the break-up of the USSR, the Ukraine was #3 in the nations with nukes. They now must realize that if only they had not 'traded' them away for piece of paper that no one is honoring they wouldn't be being messed with now by all sides. I'm sure it is a lesson not lost on Iran, N. Korea and other nations.
