MH 370: Missing Malaysian Airliner
I watched a documentary about JFK Jr.'s fatal plane flight yesterday and some of the similarities of the search effort struck me as unusual. First, despite the plane being equipped with a sophisticated electronic crash beacon, the aviation authorities never were notified electronically of the crash. Second, concerned friends and families were calling for search efforts to begin hours before anything got started. Third, the initial search efforts appeared to be centered far from the last known position of the plane. Forth, whatever happened to start the crash began shortly after a radio contact which didn't appear to indicate anything unusual.

In JFK, Jr.'s case, the flight data recorder information was lost, as was his flight log. Wonder if we'll see the same thing here.

Peter: 1. based on all the math and research you've done, where do you think that whatever was pinging the satellite went?
2. Is it unusual that there were several pings while the plane was sitting on the ground and relatively few in the air?
3. In how many places could a false set of ping data be inserted? i.e. 1. a drone with fake pinger spoofs the satellite, 2. satellite communication with perth is hijacked, 3. perth's satellite database is subsequently hacked, 4. ...more?
