Prince George died in a flying boat "accident" in Scotland in July 1941. The official narrative was that the prince, an officer in the RAF was on a "secret mission" when the accident occurred. However, the secret mission was as an emissary for the British Establishment to conclude a peace agreement with Hitler to overthrow Churchill, and join Nazi Germany in taking on the Soviet Union.
Well, it would seem that the official narrative would likely be reflected in the Wikipedia article about the Duke of Kent, where we see the following:
Wikipedia Wrote:Prince George died at the age of 39 along with 14 others on board RAF Short Sunderland flying boat W4026, which crashed while on official duty, into a hillside near Dunbeath, Caithness, in Scotland while en route from Invergordon, Ross and Cromarty, to Iceland on 25 August 1942.[SUP][31][/SUP] Handcuffed to the Duke's wrist was a briefcase full of 100 Kroner notes.
Iceland had been under first British, and then American oppupation, for something close to two years at this time, it might helpfully be pointed out.
Anyhoo, I was curious to if you might be able to recommend any source for the claims you made above, as they do sound interesting. I think everyone's familiar with the old story (generally regarded as true) that the subsequent Duke of Windsor was pushed out by Churchill's intelligence operatives, but I'd never heard anything along these lines with regard to the Duke of Kent.
