Authorities at Guantánamo said the three men Yasser Talal al-Zahrani, Salah Ahmed al-Salami and Mani Shaman al-Utaybi had killed themselves. The commander at Guantánamo, Rear Admiral Harry Harris, described their deaths as an "act of asymmetrical warfare waged against us."
::face.palm:: ::vomit::
They were being released - and died for not being willing to 'turn informant' for the CIA - because even the idiots that run our National [in]Security State realized they were yet more they had picked up who were innocent of any crimes of terrorism or against the US. What America is willing to do now is, in a word, anything....and often kills and covers-up completely innocent persons in cold blood - foreign AND American. In an Orwellian world where War is Peace and vice-versa a commander of a black site can [and did] say that those horrible men his men strangled and killed had died 'waging war against us'. Sick. So many at the top in the USA need to be tried for War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity....and many, many more belong in prison....not roaming free in their lucre and hob-nail boots.
