Oliver Stone and Anthony Hopkins did a good job of capturing Nixon's sad sense of persecution in the film Nixon.

I really think that JFK and Nixon were the last two Presidents who tried to buck the Establishment and create their own policies - right or wrong - and both were destroyed for it.
