But fair ain't part of the unofficial rules of the US. Anything goes these days, including the old adage "do as I say not what I do."
The entire Ukrainian affair is a open case study of how America and we Brits play the world and it's own citizens using the most blatant and appalling propaganda --- which we all continue to incorrectly call "news".
As I keep saying the Muslim threat was waning, so time for a new nasty ol' Commie threat to reemerge.
Welcome back David. Trust you had a good break.
I actually watched the BBC news on Ukraine last night in full. It was quite an extended piece in light of the UNSC meeting and the latest evidence-free accusations against Russia. I'm pretty long-in-the-tooth about these things by now but I really could not believe what I was hearing and watching - maps, 'experts', 'NATO Spokesman says' and all.
I've probably been following events in Ukraine as closely as anyone these past 6 months or so and can say with 100% confidence that that news piece was so utterly and cleverly deceptive - and downright false in the overall impressions conveyed - that it MUST have been put together by a special unit dedicated to pure deception where important geo-political matters are to be reported on. If the first casualty of war is truth then, on the evidence of BBC reporting on Russia and Israel, we are at war.
I considered another complaint to the BBC but I know that the only thing it will achieve is to get my card further marked by you-know-who. That's not a cop-out either because frankly I couldn't give a toss about the content of my 'security services' file. It's just that there are (hopefully) more effective ways to spend my time.
