Our pal FBI SA Robert Frazier would have to disbelieve the SBT at this point. His WC testimony said that the SBT was only possible if the bullet didn't deviate from it's course until it struck Connally's wrist. The wound description you cite sounds like a curving course thru the chest to me.
I presume that correcting aim to account for elevation differences would be a fundamental concept taught in, say, Marine boot camp.
