That information/chart is way out of date now and was, as best (imo anyway) always a miss-mash of data that proves very little in real terms. For example, Lord Airlee (David Ogilvy, the 13th earl) joined J Henry Schroders in 1953, became a director in 1961, and resigned in 1984. Lord Montagu, 1st baron Norman Montagu, Governor of the Bank of England died in 1950. With this 3 year gap, they weren't even contemporaries.

Today, ownership (at least when I last checked a couple of years ago) is via the main US banks who form the federal reserve system.

The question would be of course if there are any silent owners exert ultimate control above the public stock holders, kind of deep ownership akin to a deep state.

I agree that would be the key, but we have no way of knowing. I've looked at this time and again and there is no hard information to suggest it is, these days, anything other than what it says it is.

But for me, it has never needed to be owned by wealth to serve the wealth, business and elite interests of the US. And that's what it's creation was all about imo. It was brought into being at a time that the US was starting to flex it's muscles, internationally, and preparing the ground to eventually take over control from the British pound as the world's reserve currency -- and also take over the role of Britain as the main trading nation and the new imperialist super-power. To fully achieve this objective, it had to kick a few arses hard (but what's a war or two with competitors in the scheme of things - it comes with the territory), so as not to disrupt its long term plans.

And if several British bankers helped birth the Fed, then surely it was simply a case of them (the British elite) seeing the future shape of the world too, and recognising that the British empire was diminishing. A new "special relationship" would do very well thank you. I feel sure that the whole thrust of the Rhodes-Milner Group was to work hard on achieving this for the Anglo-saxon race. It is not that well known that the Rhodes Scholarships were awarded to anglo members of the British empire, Americans and Germans. German scholarship awards were suspended during WW1 and only resumed in the nineteen twenties, and then banned completely at the outbreak of WWII, never to be re-admitted to the "club".

The Rhodes Group planned to own and control the mineral wealth - and therefore the wealth - of the world for ever after.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
