The "deep" message conveyed in the film Noah
#2
I believe the Noah movie story is a combination of extreme environmentalists combined with a "Book of Enoch"-type Flood era story. Enoch is said to have been, among other things, the first human to write anything down. The book of Enoch has been around since the time of Christ but was not accepted by rabbinical scholars, possibly because it was partly authored in a language other than Hebrew. The story of the "Watchers" comes from there, though in Enoch the Watchers were fallen angels who interbred with humans, not giant malformed rock monsters. The vegan/extreme environmentalist message is entirely modern.

The most interesting part of Enoch is that it claims that the "waters of the earth mingled with" rain to flood the earth, and science has recently told us that there is, in fact, enough water locked in Earth's crust to do that job.
"All that is necessary for tyranny to succeed is for good men to do nothing." (unknown)

James Tracy: "There is sometimes an undue amount of paranoia among some conspiracy researchers that can contribute to flawed observations and analysis."

Gary Cornwell (Dept. Chief Counsel HSCA): "A fact merely marks the point at which we have agreed to let investigation cease."

Alan Ford: "Just because you believe it, that doesn't make it so."
