A very interesting theory repeated at the Ambassador Hotel with Sean O'Sullivan's Campbell, Joannides, Morales, doubles. Could be evidence of a CIA doppleganger/misdirection modus operandi ruse. Also, there were some people on this site who said the plotters wanted to advertize their doings in subtle ways to make sure people knew who was behind it.
