You should see how the flat tax plays right in to the hands of those people who instituted the invasion into people's rights those seizures represent.
The flat tax lets crooks like Forbes pretend they are on an egalitarian equal playing field with the worst American economic victims. We could have a libertarian economy but it would require going back to a 6 day work week and living in tenements (Which we're well on the way to anyway).
