Dawn, I've had some private discussions with JM re: Darby et al. I think you'll find [when her book soon comes out] that her position is not as radical [and different] as you think. She thinks she found some other conclusions to draw from the available evidence - and a few new things she found. You and she will not see eye-to-eye, but I don't think there is a total chasm either. I don't know every conclusion she will made, nor all of her newer evidence. I know a little - but haven't seen it. She spends a LOT of time doing original document searches and interviews with primary persons. Even if one disagrees with her conclusions, she is a researcher who deserves attention, even if one challenges her conclusions. She finds new documents and new witnesses to interview. She is highly opinionated, yes, but most of us are.........
Peter: I do not disagree with you. Her speech on the CIA at COPA last year was terrific. One of the best of the conference.
But she DID say that Nathan was not a certified print expert. That is the same as saying he committed perjury on his affidavit. Then for Walt Brown to chime in and say "Ya, we knew that" - agreeing that Nathan was not certified- just makes me ill. So Walt gave a press conference on 5/29/98 in Dallas knowing the expert was lying? I think not.
The agenda here is one of lies and Nathan was a man who was honest to a fault. Joan seems very naïve, at best. Does she talk about all the errors on Mack Wallace's death certificate which J Harrison was convinced was proof that he did not die that day? Does she talk about all the weirdness in the probate record, that I helped her with, on Mac Wallace?
Maybe she will send me a complimentary copy of her book. But I am not holding my breath on that one.
