I like the guy too. Almost everything he's done or said has been breath of fresh air blowing through the Vatican.
Personally, I don't think they'll suicide him, but you never know. Desperation and strange bed fellows etc.

The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort.
