How should the DPF commemorate our one-year anniversary?
#7
I propose Project Colourcode.

Project Colourcode is based on the general ideas that

1. Everyone worldwide should be aware of the threat advisory level, published by the Department of Homeland Security here.

2. One easy way to achieve that is that everyone participating in Project Colourcode should display the current threat level as a coloured sticker somewhere on his clothing. By doing that he or she indicates participation in Project Colourcode and makes others aware of the Project and the threat level.

3. The short term goal of Project Colourcode is to increase awareness for the threat advisory level, correlated to external threat. The long term goals are that with awareness, each individual can take meaningful, peaceful action in his or her immediate neighborhood to reduce the threat level and thereby bring the threat advisory level back to blue or green.

4. There are research possibilities into predicting the first day in history when the threat advisory level goes to green and what happens after that, or when Barrack Obama will publicly announce his participation in Project Colourcode, or what will be the threat level on the day of the first anniversary of this forum.

5. An interesting question is also, which countries of the world will forbid participation in Project Colourcode, and for which reason. This gives us a chance to see the Octopus at work. For reference on Octopus see here.

Please, spread the word, write articles, wiki entries, tweets or whatever, and wear your sticker. I will be on vacation from tomorrow, returning on September 13. I will wear a yellow sticker, until I see other colour stickers popping up. Love, Peace and Fun to all of you.

Carsten
The most relevant literature regarding what happened since September 11, 2001 is George Orwell's "1984".
