The forged picture indicates another propaganda piece, but what's the point? It's not like the Liberty incident is a sticking point in US/Israel relations. The Liberty survivors and historians know the truth, but what sort of real political weight do they carry? LBJ's "foreign relations reputation" as President can hardly be salvaged at this point. The enemies of Israel won't believe the piece anyway. So who's the target audience?
