I wonder if ping faking data can't be generated or just mis-reported on purpose. Even given the ping data, one gets an arc - not a point. To my memory and I'll check if anyone likes, the satellite was supposed to be equidistant from the early arcs and Diego Garcia. Think who owns and operates these satellites and who has the spy satellites and other electronic technologies to create fake pings, as needed. I'm not saying that happened, I'm saying we now live in a world where very little can be trusted when electronics are the basis of the information - having moved from a world where very little could be trusted based on government examinations of what happened. Sadly.
