I wonder if, actually, the Canadian spy was working as a deniable operative for MI6 in aiding the three British schoolgirls to reach IS? That sounds more likely to me than working for ISIS directly.
IS is a delightfully moderate and wise construction of western intelligence and besides helping out with much needed PR beheadings when required, also spends a large amount of time gardening for the Royal ISIS Horticultural Society, I believe. I've heard they will have a slot at the Chelsea Flower Show this year where they are expected to display their much commented upon "Bloom of the Decade", the blood red Geranium "BlodRoze." This bloom will be the exciting feature at their niche exhibition "Garden of Swords" which uses a dozen SCHAEF's, Roman "gladius" blades arranged in an original manner.

The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
