When I personally talked to the IBM font specialist who told me that, in her opinion, all three W-2 forms in question were typed on the same machine, that pretty much sealed the deal for me. The fact that the income doesn't show up on the SSA's Lifetime Earnings statement, and that SSA responded to the HSCA with copies of pages from the Warren Report, also shows that something is very, very wrong here.
