Breaking: Explosion Reported at Boston Marathon's Finish Line
#11
This coming Sunday is the London Marathon!.....:mexican: Whoever did this....they planned the bombs to target legs more than upper body - exactly the part of the body runners treasure and use most....the photo of one runner with only a lower leg bone [no muscle on the bone] was really ugly! Someone wants America and Americans to feel unsafe everywhere, anytime. I note that Boston was also the place where the American Revolution began.

Oh dear. Where have we seen "exercises" taking place at the same time as the real deal?

It's is too early to be certain of anything, but it has that "duck" feel about it doesn't it.

Boston marathon bombing happened on same day as controlled explosion' drill by Boston bomb squad

Two bombs have rocked the streets of Boston and reportedly injured 22 marathon runners (two have reportedly died). It's too early to know the cause of these explosions, but you can rest assured both the state and federal government will try to use this tragic event to blame whatever convenient enemies are most advantageous for the government.

No one has yet stepped forward to claim responsibility for the bombs, and the fact that no firearms were used in the attack may indicate this was NOT part of a false flag effort by the government to try to blame gun owners. (But it's still way too early to tell…)

Here at Natural News, we are horrified at this loss of innocent life, and we are praying for the victims of this bombing as well as their families.

Bomb squad was running "controlled explosion" on the same day

What's not yet being reported by the mainstream media is that a "controlled explosion" was under way on the same day as the marathon explosion.

As the Boston Globe tweeted today, "Officials: There will be a controlled explosion opposite the library within one minute as part of bomb squad activities."

Bloomberg news is now saying, "This is very likely a terrorist attack."

The question is: Who are the terrorists? It's far too early to take an informed guess on all this. However, it is indisputable that the FBI is actively engaged in carrying out bomb plots in the United States, then halting them at the last minute to "catch the terrorists." This fact has been covered by the New York Times, among other publications.

Keep in mind I am in no way blaming the FBI for this. Most men and women who work with the FBI are upstanding citizens who would be appalled at such acts. But it is theoretically possible that one of the FBI's many "terror plots" went too far and turned into a live bomb instead of a dud followed by an arrest for "domestic terrorism."

For the record, the explosions seemed relatively small for a false flag, and most false flags target children in order to maximize the emotional leverage after the event. That these explosions did not target children is yet more evidence that it may not have been a false flag at all.
Either way, terrorism always works in the favor of the state. It makes presidents look presidential, and it gives the government an excuse to crack down on civil liberties all across the country.

Be wary of who ultimately gets blamed for this, especially if it's a veteran or patriot.

The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

No worries Pete. London Mayor, Boris Johnson, is meeting with officials to ensure security for the London event.

That's alright then.

They will call out the military, I presume and have dirigibles and helicopters above, tanks on the street, surface to surface missiles and lots of guns and more guns. Just the right atmosphere for a day watching a running race! I presume this will also have a similar effect on Thather's funeral tomorrow.

More unexploded explosive devices are said to have been found. The fire [?] or explosion [?] at the JFK Library, 5 Km from the race - and which occurred only shortly after the two blasts at the Marathon were first said to be related, but are now being downplayed....without a rationale for the change being given. As with most incidents labeled as 'terrorist attacks', something[s] just don't add up. I presume there will be a Police, FBI, DHS and perhaps some select 'investigations'....but will we ever really learn what happened and who was behind it.....I have my doubts.....cynical 'ol me. :joystick:

Actually, I don't think a thing will happen in London (famous last words, I know).

The strategy of tension is operative in the US just now.

We Brits have been the guinea pigs for the western strategy of tension beginning with the Irish "troubles" of the 1960s. The strategy was tested by the Brits during the Mau Mau uprising in 1950's Kenya, and Malaya and the use of so called pseudo-gangs, assassinations and false flag operations (for first class articles on this and other deep political matters, see Robin Ramsay's Lobster Magazine).

Under a different nationality, the Force Reconnaissance Unit was sent to Iraq, to oversee the "troubles" over there.

Speaking of the Irish 'troubles' [and digressing a bit - but only a bit], are most in the UK aware that a large number of the senior 'terrorists' [and some of the subgroupings] were actually agents-provocateurs of the UK military and intelligence, etc.? - [i.e that is was mostly a false-flag/phony 'war']

"Marathon as Dry-Run Disaster"

Op-Ed, Boston Globe
April 21, 2008
Author: Arnold Bogis, Former Fellow, Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs

TODAY thousands of runners and hundreds of thousands of spectators are unwittingly taking part in a planned disaster. Yet, they are not just safe from harm (except for the variety brought on by running 26.2 miles), they also are participants in an event that will make the citizens of Greater Boston safer in case of a natural catastrophe or terrorist attack.
Primary responsibility for the health and well-being of both runners and spectators in Boston rests with Boston Emergency Medical Service (BEMS), along with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and Emergency Management Agency. According to BEMS chief Richard Serino, his department considers events like the marathon and the Fourth of July celebration as "planned disasters" - safe, controlled environments that present "an opportunity to test some things you would never want to test in a real disaster."
Although the principal goal during such events remains the safety of everyone involved, organizers have realized that these annual gatherings of hundreds of thousands of people present the perfect opportunity to evaluate new technologies, exercise disaster plans, and build vital relationships between public safety agencies and the private sector.
For example, a tracking system that utilizes barcodes and hand scanners to log a patient's condition and location has been tested during past races. During a real disaster, this technology could provide authorities quick access to the location and condition of casualties, information that currently takes hours, if not days, for friends and families of the injured to ascertain.
This year, as always, even more important than testing new technologies is the development of relationships between various public safety and medical communities, as well as with the private sector. Homeland security specialists often talk about the importance of not waiting to "exchange business cards at the scene of a disaster." This means that counterparts from different agencies meet each other before a disaster thrusts them together for the first time.
Treating these large, annual events as opportunities to test the disaster response system accomplishes exactly that. Personnel from public safety and health departments meet regularly during the year to plan these events. New officials will quickly meet their counterparts in other agencies. As described in a recent Globe story about how close the 2007 race came to being cancelled due to weather, a unified command is established where all the relevant organizations can monitor the event and react together if something goes wrong.
This cooperation extends beyond Boston. Thousands of runners pass through eight different towns on their way to the finish line. Coordinating medical care and security for the runners and spectators strengthens connections that will be relied upon when Boston requires mutual aid to deal with a crisis such as a natural disaster or terrorist attack.
To successfully manage the marathon, BEMS and other public safety agencies must have relationships not just with the Boston Athletic Association, which organizes the race, but also with a diverse set of private organizations. These include, but are not limited to, private ambulance services that back up BEMS, and hotels and other businesses along the route that help make the behind-the-scenes operation of the marathon run smoothly. When a real disaster strikes, these contacts can be called upon to lend needed supplies and other assistance.
This type of innovation is not limited to Massachusetts. In Washington,D.C., the city's evacuation plan is tested during the mass exodus of people after the fireworks finale at the Fourth of July festivities. California has developed medical surge plans to be used after catastrophes such as an earthquake in San Francisco or a nuclear terrorist attack in Los Angeles. The New York Police Department has created robust intelligence and counter-terrorism divisions to protect its residents.
Massachusetts is better prepared for a real disaster because every Patriot's Day and Fourth of July is treated as a "disaster." Instead of constant warnings about the inevitability of another terrorist attack or natural catastrophe, the public would be better served if this type of local homeland security innovation were promoted and adopted elsewhere.

Absolutely not. These things are rarely made public by the media, and when they are, they are quickly forgotten, or placed in the "never happened" pigeon-hole.

People have a need to trust their government. It's what allows these things to happen, time and time again.

Speaking of Irish things, think Boston and it's old Irish community. Just saying...
