Breaking: Explosion Reported at Boston Marathon's Finish Line

Quote:For me, creating panic and fear would have been the probable objectives.

Other motives would be attacks on cultural symbols. Boston after all, and tea party are synonymous. The Boston marathon is a part of American culture. Eroding the faith in our way of life, our liberty, our freedom creates a vacuum that can be filled by darker faiths. Seig heil.

Aye. Like Blighty, your way of life is rapidly changing for the worse.

Liberty and freedom are long past. They went with 911 and were on the way out a couple of decades earlier than that.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

That Saudi man who was a suspect, then not a suspect and only slightly injured in hospital has just had all of his possessions at his home taken away by the police......but is still not under arrest nor named as a suspect [ha!]. I think David is correct, this was very likely to soften people up for a 'Big One' coming soon.....could even be the 50th anniversary of the JFK/USA Coup or before...likey not after [just my gut feeling]. The many changes in the 'official story' - even total reversals resembles the OK bombing and 911 to a tee....along with all false flag ops. They will soon settle on a single 'official version' based on what they think they can save of the scenario - rather than doing a real investigation and finding out who planned and carried it out. Calling Zelikow or Kissinger for heading a Boston Marathon Bombing investigation! Who the hell would want to participate in ANY big city marathon now?! Wait until they try something like this in a football stadium!...that will have many all around the World trembling. The speed at which the World's weak structure of what little liberties, freedoms and public safety we had are all but gone. Nothing left to do but watch TV, go shopping, pay taxes and die! :wirlitzer:

N.B. more are expected to die of their injuries and now 170 are listed as seriously injured. The bomb had a pressure vessel surrounded by explosives. The pressure vessel contained BBs and nails to do maximal damage to flesh.

Quote:I suspect this has something to do with Homeland Security buying up all the bullets, and that this one will be blamed on a home grown group.

Interesting quote Dawn.Strangly,or not, last week on an automotive forum, the guys there were complaining that you couldn't buy ammo,or were at least limited to a certain amount. But basically, the ammo shelves are going empty. And,this seems to be true even for the .22 cal. tin can shooter.

Just remembered [as I live outside of country and it is not currently relevant to me], it happened on Tax Day....so the references to Tea Party [new or old] may be apt....just thinking out loud.

Otherwise he might have to pay for it, you mean?

I was thinking of your earlier post about Stansfield Turner. Sounds like a security blanket slapped on the media to me. Turner was hated by the old cold war guys at the CIA, for the reforms he brought in and the old hands he sacked. Sounds like a reason to ol' cynic me...

That's because Homeland Security bought it all up, Keith.

Pressure-cooker bombs.

Personally, I usually read the comments following the main piece.

Yes, a friend in Boston told me last week that he could not get ammo anywhere. Just for a home protection gun.
It's getting all too weird and scary.
Travel-via rail, subway and even car- will become the nightmare that flying already is.
A friend of mine and I talked earlier and he had a very interesting thought re the JFK liab connection.
That maybe Obama, who he hates, is being warned. That makes more sense than anything I can see with Copley Square and the JFK liab. And I saw the first reports online during a CPS mediation yesterday. The CPS atty had his computer open to the news and the two stories hit at the same instant as breaking news. Bombs at Marathan, bombs at JFK liab. Of course as the day went on the JFK liab. story changed several times. Now the latest is that it was an electrical fire. Just a coincidence. To my knowldege there has NEVER been a fire there. Or a bomb.
