Odd Break-In at Whistleblower's Firm

THE law firm representing a US government whistleblower has been broken into, with the thieves pinching documents but leaving silver bars behind.

Thieves stole three computers and ransacked the firm's filing cabinets, but other valuables including silver bars and video equipment were left untouched. The firm, Schulman & Mathias, is representing a former State Department investigator Aurelia Fedenisn, whose allegations against the department and its contractors include solicitation of sexual favors from minors, sexual harassment and illicit drug use.
