Quote: On a blistering summer day(105*) in 1972, the Grateful Dead took the stage on the grounds of the Oregon Country Fair in Veneta, Ore. for what would become one of the most legendary concerts of the band's storied history. This summer, fans across the U.S. will finally get to see this, the most highly sought after Grateful Dead show captured on film, when NCM Fathom Events presents the previously unreleased concert "Sunshine Daydream" as part of "Grateful Dead Meet Up at the Movies 2013*." Broadcast to select movie theaters nationwide on Thursday, Aug. 1 at 7:30 p.m. local time, "Sunshine Daydream" spotlights the band's epic performance against a pastoral background in the Oregon countryside. Shot originally on 16mm film and painstakingly restored to HD resolution, this special event encapsulates the quintessential Dead Head experience.
