[TD]The FBI is instructing local police departments and "communities against terrorism" to consider anyone who harbors "conspiracy theories" about 9/11 to be a potential terrorist, in a circular released to local police departments.[/TD]
[/TR]
[/TABLE]

The circular thus adds 9/11 official story skeptics to a growing list of targets described by federal law enforcement to be security threats, such as those who express "libertarian philosophies," "Second Amendment-oriented views," interest in "self-sufficiency," "fears of Big Brother or big government," and "Declarations of Constitutional rights and civil liberties."
A newly released national poll shows that 48% of Americans either have some doubts about the official account of 9/11, or do not believe it at all.
The FBI circular entitled "Potential Indicators of Terrorist Activities Related to Sleepers" says that people who should be 'considered suspicious' of possible involvement in "terrorist activity" include those who hold the "attitude" described as " Conspiracy theories about Westerners." The circular continues: "e.g. (sic) the CIA arranged for 9/11 to legitimize the invasion of foreign lands."

The FBI is once again circulating documents to local police departments about Potential Terrorist behaviors. Such infamous documents include ones like the MIAC Report, and the Modern Militia Movement. These documents are called circulars, and the FBI is using them to federalize State, City, and Local Police Departments.
The most recent document, by the Bureau of Justice Assistance and Communities Against Terrorism, is entitled "Possible Indicators of Terrorist Activities Related To Sleepers". Most of what is listed in this document we have seen before, however, one jumps off the paper and smacks you in the face as alarming. "Conspiracy theories about Westerners (i.e. the CIA arranged for 9/11 to legitimized the invasion of foreign lands)". This is particularly alarming considering more and more Americans are challenging the official story of 9/11. According to recent national polls, as many as 48% of people don't believe the official story, or have some doubts.[SUB][1] [/SUB]
In recent years, we have seen a larger number of organizations such as the Southern Poverty Law Center, the FBI, DHS, and of course the media, label groups such asWe Are Change and Intellihub.com, Constitutionalists, Christians, returning veterans, and now "9/11 Truthers" as potentially being involved in sleeper cells.
Sleeper cells are a term used to describe terrorist organizations in the U.S. that gather intelligence, recruit targets, and plan terrorism.[SUB][2][/SUB]
This rhetoric is extremely dangerous to our 1st amendment rights, this document puts people looking for truth into a category with extremist behavior.
Also take into consideration, more than 2,000 Architects and Engineers have spoken out against the official story of 9/11, and even putting up billboards all over the world. (Most notably in Times Square).[SUB][3][/SUB] The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) seems to be behind most of this. Since its inception, the DHS has grown into this sprawling force reaching down to our everyday lives. Warning Americans that Patriot Groups, Christians, and even returning veterans could be terrorists, yet they themselves are violating the constitution every day. We have seen the emergence of TSA checkpoints, federalization of police, illegal wiretapping, illegal checkpoints, stop and frisk policies, and an overwhelming amount of ammo purchases that is enough for multiple bullets for every American. However, in their eyes, someone who pays with cash or stocks-up on food may likely be a threat to their program.

On April 16, the day after the attack in Boston, the DHS and FBI created a "Joint Intelligence Bulletin"instructing law enforcement and private sector safety officials on how they should identify and mitigate potential terrorist threats.
After stating that behavior outlined in the bulletin may "constitute the exercise of rights guaranteed by the US Constitution," the DHS and FBI say "possible indicators" of terrorist activity include "[d]iscret use of cameras or video recorders, sketching, or note taking consistent with pre-operational surveillance." Photography should be considered part of a "totality of behavioral indicators and other relevant circumstances" before "any law enforcement response or action," according to the bulletin.

"You might be a Domestic Terrorist If" you believe in civil liberties, or if you actually believe in your Constitutional rights. Sadly, this is not a joke. You might also be a terrorist if you have ever expressed concerns of Big Brother. Are you a Christian who has ever discussed the anti-Christ, the apocalypse, or even mentioned the book of Revelation? Guess what, according to DHS then you too qualify as a potential domestic terrorist.[Image: smith-policingFreeSpeech2.jpg]
An 18-year veteran in law enforcement warned to beware of Homeland Security training that is being pushed to local law enforcement. James Wesley Rawles recently posted on AxXiom for Liberty some very disturbing trends in law enforcement training. He reports a shift in focus in the last 18 years from local community to a "federally dominated model of complete social control" coming out of, not surprisingly, Homeland Security. More specifically, the long-reaching DHS arms of TSA and FEMA have been pushed heavily in the last two years to local law enforcement.
Rawles notes that regardless to training session topics, the courses shift to domestic terrorist warnings in the community. That is not abnormal, but the wide scope of what our government describes as having the most potential to be domestic terrorists is highly alarming.
Rawles writes that the following are characteristics that qualifies a person as a potential domestic terrorist:
  • Expressions of libertarian philosophies (statements, bumper stickers)
  • Second Amendment-oriented views (NRA or gun club membership, holding a CCW permit)
  • Survivalist literature (fictional books such as "Patriots" and "One Second After" are mentioned by name)
  • Self-sufficiency (stockpiling food, ammo, hand tools, medical supplies)
  • Fear of economic collapse (buying gold and barter items)
  • Religious views concerning the book of Revelation (apocalypse, anti-Christ)
  • Expressed fears of Big Brother or big government
  • Homeschooling
  • Declarations of Constitutional rights and civil liberties [size=12][How DARE they; don't they know this is Amerika!?~!][/SIZE]
  • Belief in a New World Order conspiracy
People engaged in the above activities or mind-set may be considered "extremists" or "militia groups" that exist in our communities and are "hiding in plain sight, ready to attack."
We've looked before at suspicious activity reports (SAR database) and fusion centers that keep info on supposedly "suspicious" people, keeping watchlists that can be accessed by local law enforcement and other government agencies. Domestic surveillance seems out of control and ACLU's Policy Counsel on National Security, Immigration and Privacy, Mike German, has said as much: "The most disturbing thing we've uncovered is the scope of domestic intelligence activities taking place today. Domestic spying is now being done by a host of federal agencies (FBI, DOD, DHS, DNI) as well as state and local law enforcement and even private companies. Too often this spying targets political activity and religious practices. We've documented intelligence activities targeting or obstructing First Amendment-protected activity in 33 states and DC."
I'm sure none of us want terrorists in our country. Although there may be domestic terrorists inside the USA, why don't we actually hear about these groups? Could it be that all the warnings of how there are such high risks for terrorism inside the U.S. might be because there are these utterly ridiculous lists of what qualifies as potential terrorists?
I strongly disagree that We the People of the USA, the land of free, are a wildly dangerous group. In fact, I don't think terrorists are lurking everywhere in America, waiting to attack. I believe, it is because we love America that we talk about and write about the worrisome facts of our great country becoming the land of surveillance and distrust, the place where neighbors are encouraged to report neighbors, and where local law enforcement is being told to be on the lookout for terrorists lurking all over their communities.::darthvader::

very sad...And the NSA feeds the same to the FBI/DHS et al. directly from your computer and internet use/mobile phone use and where you drive or bank, use your credit/debit cards - and its even more suspicious if you pay cash for even a cup of coffee [I'm not joking!].

Have these people really got nothing better to do to justify their existence?
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

Well, if they bang up a few more million people in the private prison complex, and employ a few thousand prison guards (you don't need many with prisoners enduring long lockdowns and forced manual labour for multinationals), the unemployment figures will improve and the Wall Street crooks can pump up some more bubbles and rake in the criminal bonuses.

[Image: medias.jpg] Congratulations ReThink911 supporters last week 2,100 emails were sent to five major news organizations in New York!
Join us for Week 2 of the ReThink911 NYC Media Blitz as we flood four major newspapers in the New York area the Daily News, New York Post, Newsday and the Newark Star-Ledger with hundreds of "Letters to the Editor".
[Image: rethink911-billboard-nyc.jpg] The Plan

Please take Wednesday and Thursday to compose your letter. Then on Friday, October 18 join hundreds of people in sending your letter to all four newspapers. The goal: they will receive hundreds of letters in one day (Friday) and be compelled to publish at least one or two of the very best letters. At a minimum, all four newspapers will be put on notice about the growing ReThink911 campaign.
Instructions for Writing Your Letter

  • Make sure your letter is no more than 200 words in length.
  • Use the ReThink911 billboard in Times Square as a springboard for educating readers about the destruction of World Trade Center Building 7.
  • Optional: touch on the fact that 1 in 2 Americans still don't know a third tower fell on 9/11, according to a recent YouGov poll.
  • Email addresses to send to:
We will send a reminder email on Friday, October 18. Thank you for stepping up and making your voice heard!

If I'm considered a terrorist, does that mean I can get a job as an FBI informant? Cool
