Strangely, there are now two reports of two 'pings' from two separate locations - a most unlikely event. There are two flight recorders on each plane, but the chances of so quickly finding one is very surprising - finding both - and so far apart [apparently 300 miles], even less so. Another strange thing is though it was at the correct frequency, it was only heard for a few seconds. The flight recorders send out repeated pings and shouldn't only be heard for a short time....although in that area there are very large mountains on the sea floor. Something doesn't fit...like most of the story so far.... I'm very skeptical about this. It is also a bit strange that the Chinese were so quick to locate it and first to locate it - but not able to record it. Things don't add up - which is 'normal' for this incident.

CNN's Fareed Zakaria just said the conspiracy theories over Flight 370 should be dealt with by reading Cass Sunstein's book 'Conspiracy Theories And Other Dangerous Ideas'. The background then showed pictures of the Kennedy Assassination, Flight 800, and 9-11 as examples of the nutty things people think of:

Stranger still, the Chinese picked up their 'signal' from a rubber fastboat using a fishing-pole type surface microphone when the bottom is about 4.500 meters below...i.e., I think this is impossible and was most likely a PR stunt or to renew flagging efforts of the search teams or had some other hidden agenda. Below is a map showing where the [now] three claims of very short pings were located. On another website I saw a very interesting map showing most of the satellites with capability [in theory] to pick up the plane before it disappeared [if it did] and there were about 30 such satellites north of where it last was known and about 20 south of that location - most of these are highly secret satellites and the nations that own them won't say anything about them or their capability - but in order to not have others bump into them [or space debris, rockets, etc.] they DO let their location be known. That means that the total density of highly-sophisticated spy and photo/radar/etc. satellites planet-wide must be in the many hundreds to a thousand. What little we know of what goes on, which we can't see.

You can't tell me that with a 7 hour lead some of those satellites weren't tracking Flight 370.
Something is wrong here because with a known location for the pings they should have explored the spot deeper by now.
The coordinator of the Oz search just gave a press conference. IF what he reported it true - IF, then they have located TWO separate devices [planes have two] pinging for over two hours in one sweep and about 15 min in another sweep at a different compass direction - consistent with locating plane wreckage. They were towing a deep water ping detector....and are considering mounting it with a camera soon. The days until the batteries run out on the two flight recorders is anything from hours to days now. Again, IF this is so, then someone had very specific satellite or other data of where to look. It should take weeks to months to never to find such a location otherwise, as there has been no floating wreckage yet found [and reported]. Everything about this is very strange and I think the original action with the plane, and the 'reporting/recovery/location' of it have to be considered as black operations, in part. The doppler data + satellite arc data alone would, at best, give an area twice the size of the entire UK that would have to be searched - underwater towed ping detectors can NOT detect unless they are within 0.5Km of the pinger [with a smooth bottom]; here there is mountainous terrain on the sea bed and an average depth of about 4.500 meters.

CNN says 2 nautical miles for the distance between detector and pinger.
There's something wrong here because once they had a detection they would have gotten the GPS coordinates and swarmed the area. This reminds me of the Flight 800 bs where they kept the public waiting on the end of the CNN propaganda pipe like idiots. Part of the story they can't tell is the anxiety of the public is partly due to the fact they know they've been lied to before and the authorities can't be trusted.

Believe CNN at your own peril.
